Obstacle Courses for Sensory Experiences
Try to create an obstacle course where there are under-over obstacles, opportunities to jump, and crash pads. This will challenge your child's motor planning skills and engage the brain stem. For a cerebellum challenge, find fun ways to challenge your child's balance. For example, you can create a balance opportunity by having your child stand with one or two feet on an unstable surface (e.g. cushion, bed, etc.).
